Anyone's guess. Since Brian's no longer around here but the Boundless people are, I have a sneaking suspicion he's sold LD on (or leased her out on a 'figurehead' commission basis) in order to concentrate on his other projects.

At that rate I would expect to see Coffin quietly buried, to be raised again if Brian comes back to comics at some time in the future. Or used as a vehicle for the occasional burst of comic inspiration as and when Brian has one.

I suspect that after over 15 years with his signature character, like my father who edited and wrote stories for a kids' comic in the 50's & 60's, Brian's become a bit burnt out/writer's blocked with her. No guarantees he'll be back if that is the case: my father moved on and kept his distance. He later looked back on his signature character as a treadmill, though he delighted in that character's 30 years of further success in the hands of other writers.

Xetal,

Gotta tell you guy, you are way off base.

I'm totally stoked about the upcoming LD series and Coffin Comics is doing quite well with upcoming editions by a host of terrific artists.

Don't mind being off-base. It was mostly a matter of saying something outrageous in the hope it would be enough to get you back here: we've missed you!

(I read the 'where's Brian?' thread after writing this: shan't change it, because it's what I was thinking. But let's hope they find a cure for you, Brian.)
