well did every one get their free copy of Lady Death #0 at their local comic book store on Wednesday? Did you like it?

It seems to be in character, enough to buy a few issues to see how the story goes.

Looks like her original Steven Hughes-type figure has gone for good - or, for me, not good. Not a huge deal for me, as I'm mostly a stories man, but the politically-correct image-engineering since the demise of Chaos! doesn't make for stand-out attention-grabbing, at a time when the more of that is likely to be the merrier.

Even so, every copy had gone from my London comic store when I dropped by again last Thursday.

Another point of interest is that I've been on the Boundless boards' moderation queue since 24 September - and there seem to be no posts about #0 there at all, indeed very little activity at all.

Has our Lady brought Death to yet another publisher, before she's even sold a single issue?

I don't think it's dead yet, X.  There's just not enough to talk about.  I'm going to wait to give my thoughts after I see #1, it was just to short to see anything to wright about.

So is there a date as to when the new series will hit the stands?

I'm disappointed. The story seems kind of generic and hacked together so far, and to be honest, I'm a hardcore classic Lady Death fan. Medieval Lady Death and whatnot never did it for me, and the new series seems closer to that.

Also, I theorize that the lack of activity on the Boundless forums may be at least partially due to the puzzling difficulty of getting posting access there.
